All right, all right, it's time to call the bluff - any outstanding hands, I'm sorry, but it's time to fold. Of course, we still have Jack and the Doctor to drool over (and we can relax, too, because we don't have to worry about whether or not the dice are loaded - or which one of them is going to get in hot water for doing the loading.....). If you have to play just one more round (and you still have something left in your wallet), click the challenge: luck tag - or just go here.

Of course, as mods, we're really the lucky ones, with so much great stuff to read. The next challenge is coming up momentarily, too, so it looks like we're going to stay on that winning streak awhile longer!

Title: The Lucky Ones
Vidder: rubychan05
Challenge: Luck
Rating: PG
Spoilers/warnings: All New Who, All Torchwood

Summary: Jack knows that after everything he's been through he's lucky to have Ianto. But he can't stop thinking about the Doctor, and when Ten returns there's only one choice he can make...

Notes: Nearly became a Janto vid because it's my favourite pairing of the moment (because TW is on...see how I feel after the DW Season 4 finale!) but managed to claw it back to a Doctor/Jack!

Comments are always appreciated, and if you have the time (or inclination!) please comment at the YouTube site too!

Title: Cheating Death
Author: hence_the_name
Challenge: Luck
Pairing: Jack/Ianto, Jack/Doctor
Rating: PG-13
Summary:  After Ianto’s death, Jack wonders about fate.

A/N:  This is un-beta’d and not nearly as polished as I’d like, but I wanted to get it posted before the deadline.  I’d greatly appreciate any constructive feedback if you’re so inclined.

Title: Just My Luck
Author: [livejournal.com profile] sarkywoman
Challenge: Luck
Rating: PG
Spoilers/warnings: Minor spoilers from the start of series 2 Torchwood and 'LotTL' Doctor Who.
Summary: A lucky week in Torchwood from the Captain's Log and various other useful documents.
Notes: The Captain's Log layout is based on the one at BBC America and the other documents loosely based on stuff in the Torchwood UK site. The Doctor/Jack is nowhere near as explicit as it normally is in my stories and the Jack/Ianto is only hinted at. But enjoy, anyway.

Happy March - it's a month of transitions and four-leaf clovers and green beer (sometimes) and change is generally in the air. It's Luck's favorite season, and clearly the Doctor and Jack are two of the luckiest sods around. (Hey, dumb luck counts!)

So have at it: The Luck Challenge!

Are the dice loaded? (Of course they are - Jack ought to know, he used to be the one loading them.) Does the fate of the universe hang on the toss of a coin? (Pfft. The Doctor's been there, done that.) What is it about the intersection of the lonely traveller and the man who can't die that just smacks of a one-in-a-million chance?

Chance, fate, coincidence, serendipity - call it what you will, but one thing's for sure - Lady Luck's got a heck of a crush on our favorite pair. (Although Jack's pretty sure Luck ain't no lady, not the way she treats him - or maybe he's confusing her with the casino waitress on Vega Three - sometimes it can be hard to tell.)

As a gentle reminder, please don't crosspost stories for this challenge to other comms until the challenge closes. (Which, as usual, will be about one month from now.) And don't forget - leave a comment in THIS post and tell us what you think the next challenge should be!

In the meantime, get writing! Because it all boils down to one question, in the end, for Jack and the Doctor, in all of their adventures through time (and space!):

Are you feelin' lucky, punk?

(I am. I've seen what you all can do!)
