Five Things the Doctor Said to Captain Jack Harkness )

A/N: I don't quite know about this one. The idea seemed good, but the text never really spoke to me. I'd be interested in people's thoughts/critiques, especially regarding the use of parentheses and whether those phrases worked or should be cut entirely.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff.

Well.

When you put it like that, it sort of makes sense that in the lives of Jack and the Doctor, things happen twice - or thrice - or five times. Or DON'T happen five times. Or nearly happen, or might have happened, even if there aren't the pictures to prove it.

This month, give us YOUR five things. Four times some thing never happened and one time it did. Five times everybody lived. Five times Jack kissed the Doctor without buying him that drink. Four times the universe didn't explode and the one time it did. (And there's always four weddings and a funeral.)

Give us five - we can't wait to see them!

For now...

Got to dash.... Things happening. Well... four things. Well... four things and a lizard.
