They're not-quite-human. In the Doctor's case, it's more like not-at-all. But everything - alien or human or monthly challenge - has its time.

So: Time's up for the Alien challenge!

You can find all the entries under the challenge: pride tag, or just click here.

Last month was a Special Event; this month, we're returning to normal. But what's normal for our heroes? A alien and a human who might as well be one as well by this point. Let's focus on that alienness for a bit:

Welcome to the Alien Challenge!

The Doctor: He's a Time Lord. He may look human, but his body's not. His culture is not. His mind is not. He's alien, ancient and forever. He burns at the centre of Time and he can feel the turn of the universe.

Captain Jack Harkness: He may have been born human, but he's become something so alien even a Time Lord balked. He's human-but-not, an impossible Fact, incapable of dying, possibly even unto the end of the universe. So very alien, but still human at the heart.

And that's just the two of them on their own! How about all the ways they're alien to each other, now or before? How meeting exciting aliens, somewhere out there on their travels or right here on Earth? Think about alien life forms, alien places, alien minds. Take up the challenge!

As a gentle reminder, please don't crosspost stories for this challenge elsewhere until the challenge closes about one month from now. And don't forget - leave a comment in THIS post and tell us what you think the next challenge should be!
