Summer/Winter Holidays Round 2

For those of you who might not remember, last July we posted a new fic every other day, written to a prompt list that was kept secret until the month started. For that whole month, anyone in the comm could write to any prompt on the list - but we had fifteen bright, shiny, new fics to showcase just how awesome the outcome could be.

We'd like to do it again - only better.

So we're looking for up to 15 writers willing and excited to write at least 500 words of Doctor/Jack based on specific prompts, to be finished and submitted the third week of June.

AND! Artists! There are so many talented people out there - we'd really like to see what you can do! Similar idea: we're looking for up to 15 artists interested in producing a work (vid, icons, banners, drawings, etc.) based on specific prompts, to be finished and submitted the third week of June.

Unfortunately, we've filled all the fic prompts, but we always need pinch hitters and artists, if you're interested in either - just let me know! And all of the prompts will be open to everyone in July, so there's another opportunity then!

What exactly is a pinch hitter?

Sometimes real life gets in the way and someone who has signed up has to drop out. Pinch hitters are the awesome people who jump in to fill the gap so that we don't have a gap.

How long will the pitch hitters have before the deadline? I suppose I could write quickly if I have to, but I'd need time to find a beta, so I'd need at least a couple of days.

It really depends on wheb the original author notifies us that they're dropping out. We defintely work with the pinch hitter to set a deadline they can meet, but the nature of the job means that it can be a kind of quick turn around. If it doesn't sound like fun to you, don't worry - you'll have all of July to write to any of the prompts you like.
