Challenge: Remembrance
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
It's the end of the year. The last turn of the seasons into winter for those of us in northern parts; and the last fleeting days of spring before summer turns on full blast for those of us south of the Equator. All Souls' was yesterday. Remembrance Day is coming up. Jack's gone (at least for the moment). The Doctor himself is close to changing faces. There's a lot of change in the wind this month, so our proposal to you is to remember.
Cast an eye back over history - ours, Jack's, the Doctor's, Earth's, Time's, the TARDIS's - and tell us a story of the way things were, of the torch that almost went out, or of the person who held it high.
Because stories keep us from forgetting. And there's a lot of great stuff to remember!
As a gentle reminder, please don't crosspost stories for this challenge elsewhere until the challenge closes about one month from now. And don't forget - leave a comment in THIS post and tell us what you think the next challenge should be!

I have written a fic for this prompt but I just wanted to check that it is okay to post before doing so, I did check the content policies and think it is okay but just wanted to double check as I have never posted on this com before and don't want to upset anyone.
It does feature Jack and The Doctor although to see any slash you would have to look really hard and really really want to see it and they only appear towards the end of the fic. It is told from an outsiders point of view and does feature quite heavily her life at the moment with hints/memories back to the past concerning The Doctor (even though it is her interppretation of the situation which is quite wrong compaired to what we know happened). Will this be okay even though Jack and the Doctor aren't the main characters?
Also am I allowed to do more than one fic / vid per prompt.
