Prompt collection post: spoiler-free
This is the spoiler-free prompt collection post for the Winter Companions fest - comment here to leave any prompts that don't contain spoilers for Utopia, The Sound of Drums, and/or Last of the Time Lords.
Go here instead if you want to leave prompts that contain spoilers for these episodes.
You don't have to participate in the fest itself to leave prompts, and you can leave as many as you like.
Prompts can be simple - just a phrase, a word, an item, or a quote - or more complex, like a scenario you'd like to see. You can make general prompts, or ones that are specifically for fic, for art, or for vidding (or anything else you'd like to see). Don't use more than 50 words, though - inspire people, don't do their writing for them.
Prompt submission will be open from now until July 23rd, midnight GMT (when is that?). On July 24th, we'll post the full list of prompts, again in two posts, one with and one without spoilers for the finale.
Don't forget to pimp - the more prompts, the better!

- AU. Detective Inspector Jack Harkness is investigating disappearances (the people eaten by the absorba-thingy that wanted the Doctor) when he bumps into Ten. After defeating it, Ten offers him a chance to join his adventures. Of course, Jack can't say no.
- AU. The Doctor never met Rose; instead it was security analyst Jack Harkness, working late in the department store to try and solve staff thefts, who the Doctor rescued. Pick up from the Gamestation; it's Jack who takes the power of the Tardis to save the Doctor, and is then there to witness the change from Nine to Ten. Adventures with Ten & Jack instead of Ten and Rose.
- Rose leaves the Doctor after his transformation. Ten tracks Jack down to find him making a living as a whore. Ten wants to save him, but will Jack trust the Doctor not to abandon him again?
- After Jack is killed by Abaddon, Ten sneaks into the Torchwood morgue to take his body away, horrified by his treatment at the hands of the TW team.

-Jack admits his one, life-long fear to the Doctor, who helps him to get over it.
-The Doctor takes Jack home to the 51st century, where he meets Jack's family. Humour and fluff, but not necessarily PWP.
-The Doctor finds out what Jack's lost memories contain - and they involve a past companion (pre-2005). How does he react? Does he tell Jack? Why/not?
-Disaster strikes the Earth (again), and Jack is caught in the middle of a fight between the Doctor and Torchwood.
-Rose or Martha catch Jack and the Doctor in a compromising position. However the Doctor feels, Jack refuses to share.
