Title: Snakes and Ladders (Nine/Jack)

Spoilers/warnings: Uh, one swear word.
Summary: Some mishaps when exploring the TARDIS...
Notes: Really short, wrote this in like 15 minutes. Forgot to check this comm and then and and then saw the challenge, so I just had to write something. Might do a longer fic later...

“Oi!” came an indignant voice from somewhere off to his left. “Watch where you’re going, will you?”

“Wasn’t me, Doc,” Jack replied glibly. “I’m all the way over here.”

Both men contemplated this for a moment. There was a loud hiss.

“Shit!” Jack yelped as he stubbed his toe on something (probably a chair, he thought irritably) trying to scramble his way to the door in the dark. He saw the Doctor, a black shadow in a rectangle of light before bursting out the door into the cool green lighting of the TARDIS. The door slammed shut behind him.

“What the hell was that?”

“The Snakes and Ladders room.”

"I think I broke it," Jack moaned. "Ow! Don't do that!"

"What, you want me to kiss it better?" The Doctor looked up from where he was kneeling to see Jack's expression. He wasn't disappointed, a brief dreamy look flitting over his companion's features before he schooled his expression into a teasing mask.

"Would you?"

"Drink first," the Doctor said firmly.  "Then I'm all yours."
