This story is coming along very nicely. Though I do hope that Jack will start to trust the Doctor again soon and forgive him. I hate seeing them both suffer like this.

I wonder if it would make any difference if Jack knew that the Doctor went against training and his own personal beliefs to change time and try to make things better for Jack. That Jack had forgiven him in that other time line and he risked the fact that Jack in the current time line might not forgive him in order to make things better for Jack.
