Thanks again! The Torchwood/candlebrush thing totally came out of nowhere when I was writing, but I liked it enough to leave it in -- I've had that experience myself, reaching for a word and getting one that's related, yet entirely different. It meshed nicely with the idea of Jack's memory being buried and difficult to access, but not *gone.* I was worried it might be a little *too* cute, but if a reader liked it enough to mention it, then, as always, I feel better about having left it in. :D
