I don't know what to say. This story had the most brilliant build-up. From the minute you mentioned the legends of Jack killing the Doctor I was expecting that he'd die in some epically tragic way and you still had me completely in tears when it actually happened. It was like a wonderful chocolate layer cake of angst- rich and sweet and delicious and thick enough to cut with a knife.

And awww, I was so happy when Jack found a way to save him. That's the icing, right there. Now enough with this analogy before it gets out of hand. Favorite. Jack/Doctor Story. Ever.
