So am I, unfortunately. Reading the more difficult texts I once again realise that the classes have long since moved past the point where I am able to follow.
Doesn't really matter, because I have passed the number of classes required for finishing. There are only two more have-to-do classes in the next term (one of them being classical Japanse, yay. Failed that once.) and then I might be able to finish Japanology two terms early. Will need another semester for general linguistics though.
Congratulations for your exam! I'm sure it's interesting, but I'm not even able to understand Lasersohn's solution for analysing unifiers used as a conjunction between events. Today I gave a lecture about it, trying desperately to act like I knew what I was talking about.
