There's so much to do with them - so many possibilities of how their shared history could affect them, what things like Jack's factness could mean, and so much space and time for them to meet and do things in.
Yes! Seriously, that one scene in Utopia where the Doctor calls Jack a Fact has sparked so much fanfic in my brain, and I’ve still nowhere near exhausted the potential. And that’s only one scene! (Though admittedly a brilliant one.) Add to that the fact that they’re both time travellers, one immortal and the other nearly so, plus the different angles you get by looking at the different incarnations of the Doctor, and, well. The possibilities are endless.
I'm being terribly, terribly tempted to write some fic of my own, and I haven't written fanfic in years
The more the merrier! Fanfic can be such fun, and I figure there’s no reason to resist temptation. :)
