I'm so happy you're enjoying my fic - I've written a lot of Doctor/Jack, and somehow I never seem to run out of ew ideas, and new takes on their relationship. I always come back to them because they're incredibly inspiring. Whenever you get to the later Doctors, I hope you'll enjoy those stories as well!
And it's fabulous to hear the outsider POV worked well for you in this. Pri'c'tt's POV means there are a lot of things we don't see and never find out, and I'm glad it didn't end up too cryptic. Pri'c'tt is pretty much your quintessential Doctor Who guest character, meeting Our Heroes and - even getting only a very limited glimpse of their world - coming away enriched. That's one of the things I really love about Doctor Who, and I'm glad I seem to have managed to get it across well.
Thank you for quoting that bit from the fic! It was fun playing with bits and pieces from their canonical encounters, and putting them together in a different way. They're clearly still themselves, still look at the world the same way, but without the weight of their shared history, some things are so much less fraught. Whereas with their memories intact, their history both draws them together and comes between them.
And heh! It was great fun writing an amnesia fic where the characters just go on having fun, rather than angsting about it. *g*
