I'm glad you liked the themes of this and enjoyed the stories bleeding into each other. I think especially with their long lives and with what their lives have already been like other people will always have a place in them and they both know and accept it. There's a whole wide universe for them to find trouble in, shouldn't be hard at all to find some. :D
