My grin kept on becoming wider and wider reading this. It was like opening one of those birthday presents that are wrapped up in multiple layers of wrapping and find something fascinating in each pealed layer. Even becoming town sheriff doesn't stop people from calling Jack 'Captain'! Ha ha! I am overjoyed that you chose the 7th Doctor and Ace...your words illustrated them brilliantly. The little banters they exchanged were gold...aww. The detail you weaved in to establish the location/situation of the events was great as well as astonishing because I too work especially hard on those aspects of a story...the characters are important but they won't be able to even exist if there is no place for them to set foot on and tango...thank you so much for such a wonderful story...gonna go back to the top to read it again!
