Summary: Drabble-Jack found the wardrobe room.
Author's notes: This takes place not long after Warters of Mars for the Doctor.
I really like the look of the oil painting filter, but it changed the Doctor's expression. He looks more mad than sad, so I'm posting the original too.

The Doctor knew he was going to die. After what had happened on Mars he knew the four knocks and his song ending would be coming sooner, rather than later. He was glad that Jack had agreed to take one last trip with him. Maybe now he could finally tell Jack how he felt.
He hadn't seen the Captain that morning and went looking. He found him in the wardrobe room. The Doctor stared at Jack from across the room. His hearts clinched tightly in his chest to see Jack standing there in his old coat. So much time wasted.
