Another month has gone, and it's time to close the Crossover challenge! Got caught unawares by the end of the month? Don't worry - amnesty month is coming in December. There's one more month to go, though, and November's challenge will be up shortly.

I was inspired to do this after reading A Stranger in the City by AstroGirl, but never posted it anywhere. The world needs more Jack and Spock...

Travelling time and space, by TARDIS or vortex manipulator, or even by Weeping Angel - you can end up anywhere at any time. Build in a little accident, and you may even crash through walls normally closed - the whole multiverse is open. You could meet anyone.

Even people from truly bizarre universes, where there are no Silurians or Daleks, but instead Wraith or Vorlons or, hell, even no aliens at all. There's no universe that couldn't be improved by more Jack Harkness, of course, or more Doctor, or more Doctor/Jack. So take our boys to the places they don't normally go, let them meet everyone - any character, any place, any fandom – and let them dance. So many 'verses, so little time!

In other words, yes, this month, we're crossing the fannish streams. Welcome to the Crossover Challenge!

As a gentle reminder, please don't crosspost stories for this challenge elsewhere until the challenge closes about one month from now. And don't forget - leave a comment in THIS post and tell us what you think the next challenge should be!
