Title: Eddies and Streams
Author: [livejournal.com profile] sahiya
Characters/Rating: Jack/Eleven, Amelia, and a few special guest stars, PG
Word Count: 5000
Disclaimer: Not mine! They belong to the BBC.
Summary: If you picture time like a river, then like a river, there are places where it branches off. Tributaries, they’re called. And those tributaries have tributaries as well. Places where things changed.
Author's Notes: This is a sequel to The Rest of the Story, my “Eleven travels with little Amelia” AU. It’s not the sequel I intended to write, but it is the one that wanted to be written. It was written for the [livejournal.com profile] wintercompanion “timey wimey” challenge in the annual December challenge amnesty. Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] fuzzyboo03 for beta reading.

Wow, is it time again already? We've reached our last challenge for the year! After first times, running hot and cold, traditions and fear, after our yearly Summer/Winter Holidays and all our other challenges, here it is: the Amnesty Challenge for 2010.

Once again, this means that this month, you can write or create for any of our previous challenges. Anything goes - and we mean anything. Jack would definitely approve. And we hope the Doctor would, too. *g*

Maybe you were too busy with NaNo in November, maybe something else got in the way the month before. Or maybe you have an unfinished story lying around from a previous month or even year that didn't quite get finished in time. Half-finished stories, artwork or vids, ideas that never got off the ground, plot bunnies that have been biting your ankles for months - now's the time for them.

You can find all our previous challenges via the list in the sidebar or under the !admin tag. Please mention both the amnesty challenge and the challenge you're writing/creating for in your headers, and add tags for both challenges to your post. Thank you!

As a gentle reminder, please don't crosspost stories for this challenge elsewhere until the challenge closes about one month from now. And don't forget - leave a comment in THIS post and tell us what you think the next challenge should be!
